CCCI turns over another Adopt-a-Station Project

New NBI Clearance Waiting Area

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry has shown its continued support to the Province of Cebu’s business climate by strengthening its relationship with the local government through its Adopt-a-Station Project and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Led by CCCI President Melanie C. Ng, CCCI turns over another  Adopt-a-Station Project, the NBI Roof Extension cum Clearance Certificate Waiting Area to the NBI Regional Office last May 23, 2017.

The members, donors and trustees of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by President Melanie C. Ng, pose with the officials of National Bureau of Investigation Region7, led by Manila NBI Director Atty. Dante A. Gierran on the Blessing and Turn-over Ceremony of the New NBI Clearance Area last May 23, 2017 at NBI Regional Office, Capitol Site, Cebu City.

On December 2015, CCCI has signed a MOA with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) in Central Visayas Region, Peace and Advisory Coordinating Council in Cebu City (PCAC) and the Regional Peace and Coordinating Council (RPOC) as partners in enhancing NBI’s services to the general public.

Through the CCCI’s Adopt-a-Station Project, CCCI members and a non-member as donors have built a Roof Extension cum Clearance Certificate Waiting Area at NBI Regional Office.  The donors have shown its benevolence in undertaking the construction of the Structural Erection and Foundation, (i.e., steel columns, footings, installation of trusses and roofing materials, renovation of door and window glasses, among others) of the NBI Roof Extension cum Clearance Certificate Waiting Area Project worth P2.8M.
This project has provided the public a decent and safe waiting lounge in their ease of transacting personal requests and business clearance certificates.
