Christina Grimmie a singer and a songwriter, she is known for her participation in the singing competition The Voice. Christina covers hit songs by contemporary pop musicians.Christina grew up in Marlton, New Jersey, where she attended Baptist Regional Elementary School and Cherokee High School.She was of Italian and Romanian descent.
On June 10, 2016, after the show on friday Grimmie was signing autographs at the Plaza Live theater and suddenly a man aprroached her and open fire, Grimmie was shot three times. The man who shot and killed Grimmie was Kevin James Loibl, 27, of St. Petersburg, Florida. Police Chief John Mina said that the shooter had two handguns, two additional loaded magazines and a large hunting knife.To stop the suspect from causing harm to Christina and her fans the brother of Christina immediately tackled the suspect. The suspect shot himself after what happened and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

#PrayForChristina.” , “There are no words. We lost a beautiful soul with an amazing voice. Our hearts go out to the friends, fans and family of @TheRealGrimmie.”
