On the back of its strong first quarter performance, Globe Telecom is putting its strategy to promote digital transformation in the Philippines into high gear. Globe continues to lead the mobile segment as of the first quarter this year, with mobile service revenues surging to P25.98 billion.

We see internet services improving steadily due to continuous investments on network infrastructure. As such leading companies, including SMEs will be encouraged to ride on the digital bandwagon to make service delivery more efficient and reach more customers,” Globe President and CEO Ernest Cu said.

Globe also supports having a strong IT curriculum so the Philippines can create the next generation of IT leaders similar to countries like India and China.
