Twenty booths made from native materials would be set up, with the participating Cebu towns and cities showcasing their attractions and selling local products and travel packages.
Visitors get to discover the attractions and destinations of the participating localities, book tour packages, and earn the chance to win handsome raffle draw prizes.
The travel fair is highlighted by an immersive exhibit of LED walls showing Cebu destinations and accomplishments in Cebu tourism.
Cebu Provincial Tourism Officer Joselito Costas said the travel fair is a way for the province to articulate its Key Development Agenda, by recognizing the role of local government units and communities in tourism and countryside development and tapping them as part of the celebration.
“It gives more significance to the observance and importance to the towns, whose contribution to the success of Cebu could not be downplayed,” he said.
