Gaining inspiration from one of the Philippines’ largest print publications was the goal of Saturday’s Best of Cebu 2015 Lifestyle Bazaar visit at Oakridge Pavilion.
The Escoopers visited different booths and met with other bloggers, media friends and people in the business community in Cebu. It was a weekend of fun and music with free-tasting of food and various wine selections. But not all in the booths of the exhibitors of the likes of Meximama, Orange Brutus and Kusina ni Nasing were free.
SunStar Cebu has made a mark in recognizing national brands that have established shops and businesses in Cebu through the annual Best of Cebu 2015 awards. So, it is fair to say that it is not just a publication with print and online presences, but also a brand that aims to recognize Cebu’s best in various categories.
One of the best things of Best of Cebu Awards is that Cebu’s homegrown brands such as Orange Brutus, Meximama, Kusina ni Nasing, Gibb’s Hot Wings, Orange Karenderia, Kalidades and even Parkmall are in the same room with national and global brands such as PLDT, SM, Waterfront Hotel and Marriott.

Booths of the exhibitors and winners of Best of Cebu 2015 filled the 800-square meter permanent tent structure. It’s only fitting to have The Oakridge Pavilion as the venue for the lifestyle bazaar since it was awarded the Best Function Venue in Best of Cebu 2015.
With just 150 pesos per ticket per person, visitors can taste and experience the Best of Cebu 2015 offers in their booths. They could also enjoy the fun, join the contests and hear the music from Cebu’s notable and increasingly popular musicians such as Vispop 2015 big winner, Lourdes May Maglinte and the crooner behind “Hahahasula”, Kurt Fick.
PLDT Home Fibr and SunStar Cebu made the one-day-only Best of Cebu lifestyle bazaar in Cebu a successful one.
