Summer isn’t complete without an occasional dip in the cool waters. Going to the beach would solve that, but there are those who are looking for an even better experience. Jpark Island Resort and Waterpark is located in an island annexed to Cebu, Mactan. Formerly called as Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort, it was rebranded last year in support of the country’s newest tourism motto: It’s more fun in the Philippines. It boasts great hotel accommodations, with 544 seven rooms divided into seven different categories to choose from – from deluxe rooms to three unique, top class suites with more than 80 different villas scattered all over the premises of the resort.
As for their waterpark, they have five different themed pools to offer – the large Island Pool, the Amazon River that connects the Wave Rider pool and the Beach Pool, the Captain Hook’s Pool and finally, the Kiddie’s pool for children. Additional facilities like the Dolgorae Marine Shop offers the guests scuba diving activities as well as banana boat riding, jetski and wakeboarding. Their Cara Spa offers the guests total relaxation as well.

Amana Waterpark

Amana Waterpark is nestled within Luzon, in the province of Bulacan. Their room accommodations are designed to accommodate large groups of people, though that is only possible if the guests rented it for day use. They have the Baguio villas, Batanes, Vigan and Bohol rooms and finally, the Batanes Dorm for their room accommodations.
Aside from the room accommodations, they also have cottages for those who only want to stay for a couple of hours. There’s the Subic, Baler, Tagaytay, Boracay, Palawan, Catatagan, and Camiguin Cottages to offer. And as this is the waterpark, they also have a couple of water-themed facilities here. One of the most famous is the Tsunami wave, regarded as the biggest wave pool in the Philippines. Along with that are a couple of themed pools, recreational facilities like the 4D Maxrider, zipline and spa services too.

Klir Waterpark Resort

This is another waterpark resort located in Bulacan. As a waterpark, it also boasts one of the biggest wave pools in the country. Alongside with that, they have three more unique pools to offer to you – the Adult Pool, the Adult Pool with Therapeutic Water Massage and the Kiddie pool. Lined near the pools are various cottages that can accommodate up to 40 people at a time. They also have various facilities like conference halls and function halls.
The establishment also has couple of hotel rooms with a couple variations – standard, standard quad sharing, deluxe, family room and dormitory room. All are air-conditioned and features the basic amenities that most hotels offer.

Carribean Waterpark & Resotel
Goldenfield West Side, Bacolod, Negros Occidental
Another candidate to this list is the lone waterpark resort in Negros Occidental, Carribean Waterpark & Resotel. Its defining feature is the pool with a pirate ship in the middle, complemented with treasures and a chest under it. Another pool is the kiddie pool that’s only two and a half feet deep with mushroom showers, perfect for children. Lastly, the establishment also features an outdoor jacuzzi too.
As for their room accommodations, they have a family suite, a caribbean suite, businessman suite, bahama suite, los amigos 6 and los amigos 8 for you and the people coming with you. For those who only want to use their pools during the day, they have picnic areas as well.

Located in a southern island off the coast of Davao, the Bluejaz Beach Resort and Waterpark is one terrific to spend your summer days. This resort features a very large pool they call Gigantic Pool with an added dual slide on one side. Aside from that, there’s the Pirate Cove that offers enjoyment to kids as well. Guests can also use the Jaz Slide, Zipl Line, Kayaking, Jets Skiing, Parasailing and more.
They also have different slides that are catered to suit their guests, regardless of age. The room accommodations are as follows – the beach house, the island suite, the island room, the backpackers bunk and the Nipa Hut. The three are opted for overnight stays, unlike the Nipa Hut that can only be used for short stays.

Our final selection for this list is the waterpark resort found in Subic, Zambales. Whiterock Waterpark and Beach Hotel, just like the others, is a perfect combination of fun and comfort. It features a lot of indoor and outdoor recreational activities like bowling, billiards and other table games, fitness activities like jogging and frisbee, ziplining, wall climbing, surfriding, banca riding and a lot more. They also have spa services that will provide you with the relaxation you need.
Their water rides include the Big Bowl slide, Raging River Ride, Rampage Water Slide, Grand Pool, Umbrella showers, two wave pools with varying sizes (the bigger one has a net cover), See-saw waterslide, surfpool, water cannons, plunge pool and a children’s pool for kids. With that many water themed facilities, you and your family will surely have a great time.
