On January 4, 2021, the Ceres Liner Travel and Tours, Inc. (CLTTI) under Vallacar Transit Inc. which is the largest public transport company in Bacolod, Negros Island, Philippines held its annual stockholders meeting at its principal office in Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City.
During the meeting, Olivia V. Yanson, Leo Rey V. Yanson, Ginnette Y. Dumancas, Charles M. Dumancas, Anita G. Chua, Arvin John V. Villaruel and Daniel Nicolas Golez were re-elected as members of the VTI’s Board of Directors.
The board also held an organizational meeting where Leo Rey V. Yanson was re-appointed as Chairman of the Board and President of CLTTI. While Olivia V. Yanson was re-appointed as CLTTI’s Corporate Secretary and Treasurer.
Although they were notified beforehand, the stockholders stockholders Roy V. Yanson (“Roy”), Ma. Lourdes Celina Yanson-Lopez (“Celina”), Ricardo V. Yanson, Jr. (“Ricky”) weren’t able to attend.
The reason for their absence was believed to be due to the several outstanding warrants of arrest against the four siblings, Roy, Celina, Ricky and Emily (the “Y4”) for Carnapping and for Qualified Theft issued by the courts of Bacolod City.
Roy, Celina and Ricky are believed to be evading their warrants together with their sister Emily V. Yanson (“Emily”).
In a press release by the stockholders of the Ceres Line Travel and Tours, Inc. A warrant of arrest was also issued for Emily for the crimes of Perjury and Falsification of VTI’s General Information Sheets (GIS) which are the same questionable GISes that are being used by the Y4 in order to claim the majority of the ownership of VTI.
However, despite the challenges faced by the company in 2020. Leo Rey V. Yanson, Chairman and President remains optimistic and steadfast in continuing to provide the ridiong public with the most reliable means of transportaion for everyone.
