On January 16, 2021, the Mindanao Star Bus Transport, Inc. (“MSBTI”) held its annual stockholder’s meeting. Where Leo Rey V. Yanson, Ginnette Y. Dumancas, Charles M. Dumancas, Rey C. Ardo, and Arvin John V. Villaruel were re-elected as members of MSBTI’s Board of Directors.
The Board also held an organizational meeting where Leo Rey V. Yanson was re-appointed as the Chairman of the Board and President of MSBTI, while Olivia V. Yanson was re-appointed as MSBTI’s Corporate Secretary and Treasurer.
However, the stockholders Roy V. Yanson (“Roy”), Ricardo V. Yanson, Jr. (“Ricky”), and Emily V. Yanson (“Emily”) failed to attend the meeting even after being notified in advance.
Their failure to attend the meeting is suspected to be because they are hiding abroad as fugitives along with their sister Ma. Lourdes Celina Y. Lopez (“Celina”).
Roy, Celina, Ricky and Emily are infamously known as the “Y4” who have several outstanding warrants of arrest for Carnapping and for Qualified Theft issued by the courts of Bacolod City.
And just recently, Emily has also been issued a warrants of arrest for the crimes of Perjury and Falsification of Vallacar Transit Inc.’s (“VTI”) General Information Sheets (“GIS”). Which are the same questionable GISes that are being used by Y4 to claim a majority of ownership to VTI.
As the Chairman and President, Leo Rey V. Yanson re-assures everyone that even with the challenges faced during 2020. The Mindanao Star Bus Transport, Inc. will remain strong and resilients in its goal to serve the Filipino by staying commited in providing the riding public with the most reliable means of public transportation.
The newly appointed Board are also excited to see how they’ll be able to push boundaries in order to provide quality transportation to every Filipino even with the challenges of a pandemic.
