10. Osmeña Peak Cebu

Standing at 1,013 meters above sea level, Osmena Peak is Cebu’s highest peak! Looking at its physical attributes, it is also known as the “Vegetable Basket” of Cebu or “Little Baguio”. It would only take 30 minutes to get to the top so no need to sweat just to see the majestic scenery. If you need something to energize you, there are mini convenient stores selling food and drinks. Take a soothing break and try their Chai tea!

5. Mt. Manunggal

Rising 3,599 ft, Mt. Manunggal is the third highest peak in the island of Cebu. Looking at the spectacular view is quite therapeutic. It makes you think that the world is bigger than your worries and problems. Surrounding the mountain are vibrant wild flowers greeting you as you trek. Wild flowers are abundant in this mountain because of the cool climate and moist soil.

4. Mount Kapayas

Mount Kapayas is one of the most stunning trekking places in Cebu because of its rock formations. This trekking place is one of the few trekking places in Cebu that has both trekking and rock climbing to reach the top of the mountain.

How to get there: Take a Ceres Bus from the Cebu North Bus Terminal to Catmon

and stop at Catmon Proper.

How to get there: From Cebu City South Bus Terminal, ride a bus heading to Toledo, Cebu. Drop off at Julies Bakeshop in Barangay Magdugo. Then ride a habal-habal going to Casoy Barangay Hall.

How to get there: Take a bus going to Toledo City from Cebu City South Bus Terminal. Drop off at Barangay Magdugo. Ride a motorcycle taxi at Julies Bakeshop to go to Manutu River.
