Ideal tourist destinations will be showcased this year when the 3rd International Travel Festival (ITF) reels off on July 15-17 at the Ayala Center Cebu.
Targeted to traveling millennials and retirees, the travelfest would be an opportune moment for those wishing to get the best travel deals from the exhibitors participating this year.
With the theme: “Don’t Dream, Just Go”, the 3-day travelfest would gather over 50 exhibitors including airlines, hotels, national tour operators, travel agents, reports, insurance agents and financial institutions.
During the media launch today at Marriott Cebu, Stephanie informed the media and bloggers that there are 107 exhibitors signed up for the ITF. That number is likely to grow in the coming days leading to the event.
Initially staged in 2014, ITF has attracted thousands of visitors from exhibit and mall-goers. It has also helped gain positive sales results for the exhibitors. With a whooping 12-million earnings in 2014 from credit card sales, the travelfest also attained a footcount reaching 270,000.

“We are happy to note that our visitor rate has grown steadily and that we have provided positive results to our participating exhibitors,” said Stephanie Villhermosa, ITF project director.
“it’s really gratifying for us knowing that the show has not only generated sales for the exhibitors, but has likewise enabled them to reinforce their relationship proximity with their clients,” Villahermosa added.
MyEventology is the organizer of the 3rd International Travel Festival. The organizers will also hold the 2nd Cebu Travel Exchange (CTX) as a precursor to the travelfest on July 14 at Radisson Blu Cebu at Nina Ballrooms.
CTX is a business-to-business session among ITF exhibitors from the hotel and resort industry, airline industry and travel agencies. It would be a bigger affair as cited by Villahermosa as more prospective buyers from the different ASEAN countries, India and the Middle East will be in attendance this year.
The ITF media launching also featured a bevy of beauties in the search for the ITF ambassadress.
