“Bugnawan” came from a Cebuano word “bugnaw” which means cold. Bugnawan falls have icy cold waters because the trees around the area are stopping the sun rays from hitting the water. Its height is around 20 meters and depth of 3 meters.

14. Ka-tinggo Waterfalls

Ka-Tinggo Falls is situated inside a canyon in Catmon. This paradise is a 4 meter high waterfall that flows down into a huge abyss underneath. You can go have a thrilling cliff jump and fun tours around the little caves and coves in the area.

To get to the Kantinggo Falls, ride a bus headed for Catmon at Cebu North Bus Terminal. Stop at JM Poultry and get on a motorcycle going to the Esoy Hot Spring. Trek to the Ka- tinggo Falls from the hot spring.

Budlaan falls is tagged as the “hidden falls of the city”. It’s because of its challenging trail that is not suited for beginners. But we guarantee that once you reach the falls, you’ll realize that the breathtaking scenery is all worth it.

Look for a jeepney bound to Talamban Grand Mall (13C,62C,62B) or going to Pit-os. From Grand Mall, ride a motorcycle going to Barangay Budlaan.

12. Montpellier Falls

9. Tinubdan Falls

7. Lusno Falls

Lusno falls is a nature’s beauty sitting between Argao and Ronda, Cebu. This falls is not crowded so enjoy the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. There is also no entrance fee, no cottages and no cement path, just the waterfall’s radiant beauty.

6. Mantayupan Falls

A small level that pours down in a circular pool and the top level where the 98 meter waterfall is located. We recommend going here on weekdays because weekends are usually crowded.

Cambais Falls is a hidden waterhole located in Alegria, Cebu. It’s less than an hour drive from another beautiful destination like the Moalboal. This waterfall has many jumping levels and suitable swimming spots.

How to get there: Renting a scooter is the easiest way. Renting a scooter in Moalboal should cost around 300PHP ($5.85 USD) per day. Take 1-hour drive from Moalboal the waterfall.
