Cebu Taoist Temple was constructed in 1972 to maintain the teachings of a Chinese philosopher, Lao-Tse. It’s not for tourism but tourists pay a visit because of its majestic architecture and incredible view of Cebu City and Mactan Island in it’s balcony.

The design of the Simala Church, resembling a Disney Kingdom, is inspired from European cathedrals. The church was put up by the Marian Monks from Pampanga in 1998.
