Pungko Ta Poy!
As you step into the restaurant, the first thing that catches your eye is their artwork. Printed on the walls is an impression of how the Cebuanos enjoy and lavish on the their local dishes symbolizing their love and support of their local cuisine.
In addition, their menu also extends far beyond the regular Cebuano street food. And also offer some cuisines that’s popular all over the Philippines. But for now, let’s take a look at their Ngohiong, Fried Chicken, Kwek-Kwek, and Tempura served with their special spiced local vinegar made from Tuba or coconut wine and Pungko Ta Poy Chili Garlic Sauce!
Pungko Ta Poy Recommendations
The restaurant’s signature flavored ginabot paired with their homemade sauces is to die for! With its unique flavor, it lives up to its name for becoming the best-selling dish at Pungko Ta Poy! Simply take a bite of a dish served uniquely at PTP!
Street food, especially deep-fried dishes are always best enjoyed with friends and family. At Pungko Ta Poy! They offer a mouthwatering set with different fried foods like ngohiong, longanisa, fried chicken, fried pork, ginabot, and others that guarantees to satisfy your cravings. We doubt that you can finish it all on your own, so we suggest to at least bring a plus one!
Crispy Pork Humba
We’re also really excited for PTP as they are serving a new menu, the Crispy Pork Humba! A popular Filipino dish that is similar to adobo. But instead of being boiled, the pork is fried under high heat and is topped with some delicious garnish with eggs on the side. You definitely have to order one as it completes the Pungko-Ta-Poy! experience.
And of course, no street food restaurant can ever be complete without Siomai! Have a taste of this timeless menu which PTP is proud to say has no extenders! Ensuring that your meals are proudly sourced local and are guaranteed to make you go WOW! for their taste!
And no this isn’t really Halo-Halo, although it is shaved ice topped but it is topped with a variety of ingredients including powdered milk. As opposed to Halo-Halo which isn’t served with powdered milk.
But don’t worry, in essence it’s just similar and they come in three delicious flavors! Classic, ube, and Pandan! And if that’s not enough, it’s served in some native coconut cups which truly supports the movement of taking care of our planet and going GREEN!
