Be proud!

Many people in the Philippines are trying to cope with economic challenges, a lack of basic services, and natural calamities that occur often. That is why an organization like the Iglesia Ni Cristo has grown so prominent in the Philippines’ everyday lives. Recently, the Felix Y. Manalo Foundation of Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) earned the Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organizations Overseas in 2021 (PAFIOO), an award that is given to people who have done outstanding humanitarian service in the Philippines. The FYM Foundation is one of the 56 organizations to receive this prodigious award and was honored directly by President Rodrigo Duterte.

The Award Recipients’ Selection Process

A four-stage screening method is used to examine each organization that is nominated for an award. First, an awards screening committee evaluates each contender who has been nominated for an award. Then, nominees are divided into different categories for various awards and evaluated by senior representatives from different departments. Finally, the president is presented with a shortlist for his final approval.
