Time Out polled 20,000 people for the yearly survey about their city’s post-pandemic life. Including the nightlife, dining, and bar scenes. Community spirit, resilience, walkability, safe public transportation, sustainability, and good public transportation were important index components.
Between the capital cities of Greece, Athens, and Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. The city of Manila ranked as the 34th best in the world. The Top 5 cities out of 54 were Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Edinburgh and Glasgow in Scotland, Chicago in the United States, Medellin in Colombia, and Edinburgh in Scotland.
In the description of Manila, noted that the people have become accustomed to the city’s overcrowding and traffic delays.
Manila ranked third among resilient cities on Time Out’s rating with a 60% score, and it was noted that “no respondent regarded the city as unfriendly; rather, it was appreciated by many for the hospitable and contagious smiles of its citizens.”
