Forbes’ list of World’s Best Employers includes Filipino Companies. To be exact, Seven enterprises owned by some of the country’s wealthiest families made Forbes list of World’s Best Employers for 2022.
Tony Tan Caktiong, a billionaire from the Jollibee group, ranked the highest among the seven companies, coming in at 106th. Followed by Ramon Ang at the 174th spot, the business tycoon and president and vice chairman of San Miguel Food and Beverage.
Ayala Corporation came next in the 581st ranking, and the Sy family’s SM Investments Corp. placed 605th, right after.
Metrobank, owned by the Ty family, comes in at position 637. Followed by Andrew Tan’s Alliance Global Group at position 688. To complete the seven Filipino Companies that are included in Forbes’ list is Aboitiz Equity Ventures also ranked 740th.
The top 10 companies on Forbes World’s Best Employers list were occupied by major tech giants. This includes South Korea’s Samsung and American multinational tech firms Microsoft and IBM.
Forbes has collaborated with market research firm Statista to survey 150,000 full-time and part-time employees from 57 countries who work for multinational corporations and institutions to determine which ones excel in corporate impact and image, talent development, gender equality, and social responsibility, that’s what makes Forbes list of World’s Best Employers.
