Gov’t Empowers Digital Workers to Become Digital Entrepreneurs

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region VI, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Aklan and the Aklan ICT Council, successfully launched the ASCEND: Digital Workers to Digital Agency Owners program on May 23, 2024.

This groundbreaking event, the first of its kind in Western Visayas, aimed to equip digital freelancers from Region VI with the skills and knowledge necessary to transition from digital careers to becoming business owners and social entrepreneurs.
