Mandani Bay has been supporting cultures in Cebu. Aside from transforming Cebu and Mandaue City into world-class lifestyle destination, it has been lending its show gallery to groups and individuals who have been molding the Cebu culture.
A joint venture of Hong Kong Land and Taft Properties, Mandani Bay has recently held the opening of photo exhibits of famous Filipino photographer, Bob Lim.
A product of UP Diliman, Roberto Pableo ‘Bob’ Lim has been taking pictures since his college days. He is among the first enrollees of the UP Film Center pursuing a program in film-making during the late 1970’s.
Though he started as a student writer and pursued a writing career, he found the passion for photography to be a very good opportunity when he got more income from taking photos than the writing job.
Fast forward now, that passion is still igniting and is now the stimulus or the factor for the photo exhibit he has been venturing together with Mandani Bay.
His photo exhibit called, Vivid, features various Cebuano personalities such as Cebuano singer Insoy Ninal, photojournalist Alex Badayos, visual artist Maria Victoria Beltran, photographer Lito Dizon and other cultural artists in Cebu.
Maria Victoria Beltran and Lito Dizon are among the muses of Bob Lim.

Mandani Bay’s support is overwhelming because it includes snack buffet.
Bob Lim’s Vivid features himself and the personalities that he managed to capture in their vulnerable, tell-all photos.
The photo exhibit will run in Mandani Bay from Sept. 15 to Sept. 22, 2016.
It was only last month that Mandani Bay managed to support the Cebu Blogging Community in which Escooped was also the avid supporter of the group’s anniversary.
