Imagine life without animal meat. Imagine life without nuggets, fish fillet, and beef tender. What do you see? Well, if what you see excites you, this article is for you. If it’s not giving you any strand of excitement, this article is a challenge for you. Now, if you are thinking that I am pushing you to become Vegetarian, I am not. I am challenging you because to become one is one heck of a commitment.
Being a Vegetarian is not for everyone. For some people it is just a piece of cake, but for some it will take their willpower to its breaking point. The thing is, you don’t have to push yourself on the wall just to become a Vegetarian. It should never be that way. One should have self dedication to attain this.
To all Vegetarian wannabees out there, I will give you 5 ways how to become one.
Set a goal
I want to be metaphoric in this one, so let us just say you have this super dream car that you have been wanting to own since forever. Say, it’s Lamborghini Veneno Roadster – the world’s nicest car. What are the ways for you to afford and own that car? What was that? Oh come on, I know you can say it louder. All right! You gotta have a goal! That is, technically, the first thing that you have to do – goal setting. Set your sails and never let tides turn you away from it. It is basically the same thing as wanting to be a Vegetarian. You have to have a goal, mate.
Commit to that goal
We, Filipinos, like commitment, don’t we? We commit to almost everything: to our jobs, to our resolutions, to our beliefs, to our special someones, even. So what’s so hard with committing to your goal. You are a goal setter, you should also be a goal committer.
Take one step at a time

“Take one step at a time, there’s no need to rush. It’s like learning to fight or falling in love. It’s gonna happen baby if it’s suppose to happen”.. Heard that song of Jordin Sparks? Rushing things is never a good idea. Live for a day. Take things slow. Yeah, it’s like falling in love ‘cause when you rush his/her heart to yours, things will start to fall apart. Same thing goes to your tummy, you should not shock your digestion.
Cut the meat

Protein is very essential to human for it is the building blocks of life. I assume you know that we get protein from animal meat. Although meat is the greatest source of protein, it is also the greatest source of fat. And fat, especially the saturated fat, is one of the reasons why our generation is at high risk of heart diseases. Vegetarians supersede the meat, they get protein from Soy, Green Peas, Quinoa, Non-dairy Milk, and such.
