Café Laguna, Cebu’s well-loved Filipino restaurant, will offer a grand buffet in all of its restaurants in Metro Cebu on the occasion of its 25th Anniversary on September 28.
On the said date, exclusively on its Lunch and Dinner, Cafe Laguna will open its 25th Anniversary Grand Buffet where diners will have a feast of the original Dinuguan Tagalog with puto, Fresh Lumpiang Ubod and Puto Bumbong. Adding in the flair of flavors are new soon-to-be favorites Cafe Laguna has innovated: Sinigang na Salmon sa Miso at Burong Mustasa, Kansi ng Negros, Adobong Dilaw, Pancit Langlang, Ginataang Bilo-bilo, Kalderetang Kambing and so much more. All of your favorites at Cafe Laguna, served in a grand array of favorites, will be available to the public at Php 499.00.
The said grand buffet is available at Cafe Laguna Ayala, Laguna Garden Cafe, Cafe Laguna SM City Cebu, and Cafe Laguna SM Seaside Cebu.
The Chosen Charities
“Cafe Laguna will always be about family and community. To give back to its community is always at the heart of our brands,” quips Cafe Laguna founder and Chairman “Kitchen Queen” Julita Urbina.
This year, Cafe Laguna is sharing part of the proceeds of the grand buffet to three charitable organizations close to its heart.
The Soup Kitchen for the Visayas is a Cebu-based non-profit organization working together with other charities to provide nutrition activities in chosen areas and immediate medical support in relief operations.
The Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines, Inc. (DSAPI), a non-stock, non-profit organization, founded in 1991 aims to provide support to families who have a child with Down Syndrome. The organization is composed of dedicated and committed parents including physicians with missions to initiate, develop, promote, encourage and support programs and projects concerning Down Syndrome.
Cebu Caritas, for decades, credibly provides support to communities and persons in needs missions that constantly adhere to the core values of Christianity.
“We have been supporting these charitable organizations for many years ” said Dr. Jet Urbina Canoy, Laguna Group’s Director for Corporate Social Responsibility.
“We have been following their activities. Knowing their consistency, sincerity and passion to help wholeheartedly its adopted communities and causes, is a huge factor for us that we have selected them to be our beneficiaries for the Café Laguna 25th Anniversary Grand Buffet” Dr. Canoy added.
