Held at the Ayala Terraces, the event reinforced the company’s continued commitment to grow and provide local talent with limitless career opportunities. The event drew a huge crowd including jobseekers, employees, and other members of the community.
The success of Youniverse seals Convergys’ dominance in Cebu, with eight sites and 13,000 employees. According to Convergys President for Asia-Pacific Ivic Mueco, “Our extraordinary growth in Cebu over the last 12 years is due to our talented and dedicated employees who deliver excellent service for our clients’ customers. Cebu is a critical part of the Philippine operations, and we remain committed to continuing this growth and being an active partner in building our communities.”
The company also announced it is hiring 2,400 additional employees in Cebu from October to December this year, another highlight of the Convergys Youniverse event.
