Joy and happiness abound as modern-day bistro, Café Caw, officially launches its Make It Happier campaign with a Summer Crafternoon last May 15, 2016.
Cafe Caw Make It Happier Summer Crafternoon Workshop & Artists
Three homegrown Cebuano artists will hold capsule workshops on different arts and crafts topics:
- summer flower crown making by Gizelle Faye Bunagan, of Cuckoo Cloud Concepts
- rubber stamp carving by Meream Pacayra of Bored & Crafty and Thimble Cap
- summer illustration in painting by illustrator and graphic designer Sam Despi
On the same day, Cafe Caw opens The Happy Shop, a crafts exhibit and shop where Cebuano artists and entrepreneurs such as Glitchgrafiks, Raw by Roque, Crafts at Saffron, Lilila Primitive Art, and a lot more can display and sell their products.
Why The Cafe Caw Make It Happier Campaign Was Initiated
“With the Make It Happier campaign, we hope to reintroduce Café Caw as a go-to happy dining place in Cebu. We have pretty interiors, flavorful and instagrammable dishes, cakes and pastries, top quality coffee in Cebu, and an overall fun dining experience,” stated Carol Park, owner of Café Caw. She also added that they’ve made dining happier at Cafe Caw with their newly revamped menu, along with exciting promos, such as gift and loyalty cards, for its customers.
The Summer Crafternoon was open to all ages. Guests who participated in the craft workshops receive craft materials, snacks, and kits with surprise items from sponsors such as Datche, Skin Potions Cebu, Bloom, Lifelab and Glitchgrafiks.
