With an additional Airport being constructed at the moment, GMR Megawide Cebu Airport Corporation (GMCAC) Head of Airline Marketing, Ms Aines Librod, on the other hand, says that “Cebu is not a final destination but a gateway to other destinations in the Philippines”
As part of AirAsia’s commitment to boost tourism in Southern Philippines and to make air travel more accessible and affordable for Filipinos, they are expanding their operations in the Visayas and Mindanao regions.
Beginning April 22, 2017, AirAsia will have direct access to Palawan and Boracay via Caticlan from Cebu daily while flights to Davao are scheduled twice daily.
